Actor Jai Vats, who has done shows like Choti Sardarni, 10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak, Bare Ghar Ki Chhoti Bahu and others, shared his New Year plans and more
Speaking about his New Year plans, he told Times of India TV, “My New Year plans are fairly simple this time. I intend to step into the year by nurturing an inner spiritual connection through meditation and prayer, along with moments of quiet contemplation and quality time with friends and family. The idea is to unwind and recharge. Last year was quite intense, both on the personal and professional fronts, so I want to begin this year with a sense of calm, clarity and gratitude. And of course, if good work comes my way, I’m always open to embracing it.
About any NewYear traditions that he follows, he said, “Yes, I do have a small personal tradition. On New Year’s Day, I take a few quiet moments to reflect on the year gone by, the lessons learned, and where I can grow further. I prefer beginning the year with positive intentions rather than grand celebrations. Visiting a temple to seek divine blessings is also an important part of the day. For me, a peaceful beginning rooted in gratitude and positivity sets the tone for the entire year.
”
Speaking about New Year resolutions, he said, “I don’t believe in very rigid resolutions, but I do believe in making conscious promises and setting guiding principles for myself. This year, I want to focus on consistency, both in my craft and in my personal growth. I aim to stay disciplined, keep learning and continue expanding my horizons as an actor. Most importantly, I want to prioritise my mental and physical wellbeing. Everything else naturally falls into place when your foundation is strong and your intentions are aligned.”
